How is the cost of a translation service determined?

We calculate every translation fee individually because the cost depends on the following factors:

  • Source language and target language of the translation
  • Quantity of words contained in the document
  • Subject and specialization of the document
  • Requested due date
  • Any other special requirements in general (scanned documents, graphic editing, etc.)
In what format should I send you my documents?

We strongly recommend sending your information for translation in editable digital format since this considerably reduces delivery time. We accept digital documents in any of the following formats: Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Acrobat (PDF). In the event no editable digital version of the document is available, we may accept scanned documents; however this may incur in additional charges and lead time.

How long will it take you to translate my document?

At Linguaris, we take great pride in giving our clients the most accurate translation services possible. This attention to accuracy extends to giving you an on-target delivery date as well.  That’s why before we give you a date, we ask you to send us the complete documentation, or a representative sample of the document you want translated.  This allows us to review the complexity and size of the document in order to better calculate a delivery date.

How do I request a quote?

It’s easy. Just send us an email at info@linguaris.com or click here.  If possible, attach all documents or a sample of the text you’d like to have translated. Please include your required due date, or any requirements.

In what industries do you work?

We work in many different industries, but most of our clients come from the healthcare industry, including healthcare companies, pharmaceutical companies, medical device companies, and others.

Linguaris is known as the expert language service provider in Spanish to English, and English to Spanish.  We choose to focus on these two languages in order to give our clients the best services available.

How do I know my information will remain confidential?

All Linguaris professionals are bound by a confidentiality agreement that ensures the nondisclosure of our clients’ information. In addition, we will be happy to sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) at your request.

What is your payment policy?

For new customers, we require a 50 percent advance payment to begin your project, and the remainder upon delivery of the translation, or the conclusion of the interpretation service. For your convenience, you can pay in several different ways: electronic transfer, certified check, or PayPal.
